Arizona Weatherization Assistance Program Benefits

Program Description

The Weatherization Assistance Program was established to help low-income families and individuals decrease their home energy costs and to be attentive to energy-related health and safety issues in the home. The Arizona Department of Energy Office is the managing agency for the Weatherization Assistance Program. More than 16,500 of Arizona's low-income households have been provided with weatherization assistance services since the program's inception in 1977. Arizona's current annual funding allocation is approximately $2.5 million.

General Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Arizona.

In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:

If you receive Supplemental Security Income or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), you are automatically eligible to receive weatherization services.
