What is Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) Private Enforcement Initiative?

The purpose of the program is to develop, implement, carry out, or coordinate programs or activities designed to obtain enforcement of the rights granted by the Fair Housing Act or by substantially equivalent state and local fair housing law.

Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a non-profit fair housing organization that conducts enforcement activities to prevent or eliminate discriminatory housing practices.
