Kentucky Summer Food Service Benefits
Program DescriptionThe Summer Food Service Program was created to serve nutritious meals to children when National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program meals are not available. To ensure all Kentucky children receive proper nutrition throughout the year, SFSP reimburses organizations that prepare and serve meals to children 1 to 18 years of age during the summer and school vacation periods at eligible sites.
General Program RequirementsFor this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Kentucky.
In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
