Unemployment insurance benefits provide temporary financial assistance to workers unemployed through no fault of their own, who meet Missouri's eligibility requirements.


Missouri Unemployment Insurance is administered by Employment and Training Administration (ETA).

Program Requirements:

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must have worked in Missouri during the past 12 to 18 months, and have earned at least a minimum amount of wages as determined by Missouri guidelines. You also must be available and actively searching for work each week that you are receiving benefits.

Application Details

Register and apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with UInteract at uinteract.labor.mo.gov, Missouri’s on-line unemployment insurance filing and claims management system.

Missouri also maintains a phone claims filing system that is available Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM CST
