The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) provides part-time community service training positions to low-income persons age 55 and older. Program participants work an average of 20 hours per week, are paid at least the Federal minimum wage, and are employed in a wide variety of community service activities.

Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this program, you must be 55 years of age or older, unemployed, and your household's pretax annual income must be 125 percent of the Federal poverty level or less.
