South Dakota Child and Adult Care Food Program Benefits

Program Description

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides Federal funding that makes it possible for child care centers to offer nutritious meals to children each day, provided that the meal meets established nutrition standards.

General Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of South Dakota and have child(ren) enrolled at a participating home or center. Participating day care homes and some centers do not charge separately for meals, but can receive reimbursement for meals served to eligible children.
